At the season's beginning, a contest was held among FC Spare Tire players to guess exactly when Gilly would score that 100th goal.

Earlier, FCST players were invited in late August 2008 to submit by September 21, game three, when exactly Gilly would score his 100th FCST goal.  It never happened that fall, so the contest re-started in January 2009.

The correct guesser received a $100 gift certificate to adidas.com. Nine players thought Gilly would achieve the feat -- on Feb. 1, 2009 vs. Journeymen, and upon a drawing, Dean Lencioni's name was chosen as the recipient.

The correct guesser as to who would provide the assist received a $50 Ciao card to Pagliacci Pizza. That man is Leo Berk, the only one to guess that Kelly Antoncich would be the assist-giver. It's only ironic that Berk provided Antoncich with the ball that led to the assist!
