The journey to 100 goals as an FC Spare Tire member within the GSSL was indeed an enjoyably long one, peppered with fun little oddities along the way. May we present:

Gilly actually achieved the feat on October 26, 2008 vs Work Doers FC -- only if you count the three he had in summer 2006 as member of Spare Parts AFC, an offshoot of FC Spare Tire, which you can't count, Lassiter will remind.
Gilly's best season was fall 2004 when he scored an FCST career-high 15 goals.
FC Spare Tire has not lost in 54 of the 67 games in which he scored.
When Gilly scores, the chances of Tire earning points increases almost on the spot - FC Spare Tire does not lose 29 percent of the time when he earns a score.
Had Gilly not been the lone goal-scorer, Tire would have missed out on points in 17 different occasions.
The most goals Gilly scored against one team is eight - against FC Thien An and Monkey United.
It took Gilly 16 seasons to reach 100 goals - which would mean he averaged 6.25 per season.
Except for his first and only game in spring 2003 and until 2008, Gilly never scored fewer than five goals in any season he played.
A total of 27% of Gilly's goals came via his head and 58% came from below the waist (knee or foot). Fifteen of Gilly's goals came by penalty kick.
A total of 86 percent of Gilly's goals came on field turf. He also had nine goals on astroturf, three on dirt and two on grass.
Gilly scored 90 percent of his goals as a division 4 player, the other 10 as a division 3 player and none in division 2.
Gilly loves to score at Lynnwood - 22 of his goals came there. Among other venues where his scores were highest: Edmonds (13), Shoreline Stadium (10), Shoreline fields (10), Ingraham (6), Fort Dent (6).
Gilly twice tallied four penalty kick conversions within a span of seven games.
Letters to the mayor of Mountlake Terrace, Gilly's current city of residence, proposing a city-wide proclamation of "Mike Gill-More Day" went unanswered.
This site has been up and ready to post since September 2008.
Eleven of Gilly's goals came on the Shoreline fields.
Gilly's first and 100th goal came on the same Shoreline field nearly six years apart (opposite ends).
While Gilly is in fact a master scorer, he has 37 FCST assists to his credit - his high year was 2005 when he recorded 15.
